Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is MindEnabled® Technology?
A: MindEnabled® Technology (ME Tech for short) is a combination of hardware specially designed to respond directly to user focus and algorithms that process this response to produce specific, desired results. The results may be as simple as producing an excess number of ones in an otherwise random binary sequence, or as complex as answering a question that cannot be answered using available information and traditional logic.
Q: How is ME Tech Different from a "Mind-Controlled" Interface?
A: The term "Mind Control" has been used to describe a type of interface that uses brain waves or EEG signals to produce control signals for various devices. Once electrodes are attached to the user’s head, the electronic variations from neurons firing in the brain are amplified and processed to obtain the desired signals. ME Tech does not require electronic connections to the user, and it can provide information that cannot be obtained from processed brain waves.
Q: What is a MindEnabled® Device?
A: A MindEnabled® Device (ME Device for short) is the hardware part of MindEnabled® Technology, specially designed to directly respond to a user’s focused efforts. Each device makes billions of measurements of truly random signals and processes them to provide a relatively small number of information-amplified outputs for further processing.
Q: Can I Buy a MindEnabled® Device?
A: No, MindEnabled® Devices are currently not available for sale.
Q: How can I try MindEnabled® Technology?
A: The online demonstration applications are currently not available. Please contact Psigenics Corporation (505) 222-0612 for more information.
Q: I got a low score using METrainer. What does that mean?
A: METrainer usually takes practice, and it always takes focus, to get better scores. You may get a low score if you are just beginning or if you were distracted or not feeling at your best.
Q: How do I get a high score with METrainer?
A: Read the METrainer Instructions for helpful hints. Using this technology is a skill similar to a sport—practice and determination will give the best results. Experiment. Find your own rhythm and the approach that best works for you.
